The controls
Use arrow keys, swipe the board on a phone, or use the four direction buttons. Aim for 2048, then keep going if you like.
A little strategy
Keep your biggest tile in a corner. Leave empty cells for planning combinations. A tile can only merge once in a single move.
When does a game end?
When the board is full and there are no equal neighboring tiles. Your score adds up the values of tiles created by merging.
Where is my progress saved?
Progress stays in this browser. An optional account lets you save an encrypted backup and restore it on another device from My account. There is no automatic sync.
